Why is maintenance important?
A well-maintained bike is not only safer but also rides much better. By having regular maintenance performed, you prevent unexpected defects and ensure your bike stays in top condition.
Do you mainly use your bike for short trips or on the weekend? Then a service once a year is usually sufficient. If you cycle daily or make longer trips, for example for commuting or with children in the cargo bike, we recommend having your bike checked twice a year.
With timely maintenance, you extend the lifespan of your bike, prevent expensive repairs, and help your bike retain its value. This way, you can keep cycling worry-free in every season.

What does a service involve?
When your (cargo) bike comes in, we'll look together at what maintenance is needed. We check the status of the brakes and tires and see if there is any wear and tear. If it turns out that certain parts need to be replaced, you'll receive a price proposal immediately.
Should something new come up during the service, we'll always contact you to discuss it. This way, you know exactly what to expect and will never face unexpected costs.

You can also always give us a call to schedule an appointment. That way, we can confirm the date for you immediately.
You bring the bike to us, after which we start the maintenance as soon as possible. Maintenance usually takes 1 to 2 working days, but during busy periods—combined with ordering parts—it can take up to 2 weeks at most. We’ll always keep you informed!
That depends on availability. Please indicate in your request if you need a loaner bike or give us a quick call, and we’ll see what’s possible.
The costs depend on the type of bike and the work required. A basic service for an electric cargo bike & Longtail is 135.- and for (electric) bikes 85.-. We provide an indication beforehand—after a check—and always consult with you before incurring extra costs. This way, you won’t face any surprises.
For small repairs, that’s sometimes possible. A service usually takes longer, so waiting isn’t practical. We’ll let you know if it goes faster than expected.
For electric bikes, please bring the battery key. For some brands, the charger is also useful if we want to test the battery.
Yes, certainly! Urban Arrow, Batavus, and Carqon are our main brands, but we also maintain other brands. Just mention the brand in your request.
After the maintenance is completed, we’ll send you a Tikkie. As soon as it’s paid, we’ll deliver the bike back to you in good order.
